What is it?

Uncharacteristic sluggishness or unresponsiveness as a result of heat stroke or another condition.

Not to be confused with general laziness.

How can I recognize it?

A sleepy, floppy chinchilla that fails to respond to stimuli.

How do you treat it?

Find out the underlying cause! Lethargy is usually the death knell.

How can I avoid this?

Keep your chinchilla from overheating.
